Let Your Tools Work for You!
Not every new distributor is a great presenter, however, every new distributor has the ability to hand out powerful tools. Here are a few tips for maximizing your success when handing out tools:
Customize your tools to your candidate. Use your best judgement to give them the tools that THEY will be interested in, not the ones that you like the most. Be sure to include some written material as well as a CD or two because some people are audible learners and others are more visual (i.e. A Success from Home Magazine, a product CD and a business CD). Be sure to edify the tool. Don't just hand somebody a CD. Tell them who the presenter is, what the presenter has accomplished and why you want them to hear it.
Always set the next appointment. A dentist always books the next check-up before you leave. Why would you run your business any different? Tell your candidate it is very important to you that they review the information and that you would like to set an appointment to follow up, get their thoughts and answer their questions. Also, explain to them that you have other people that want to hear this information so you will need to get it back from them anyway. The follow-up appointment is the perfect opportunity to bring in an upline 'expert' to help answer your candidates questions!
